Reuben Schapiro, Founder and CEO of Tal Or Ecology, B.Sc. Chemical Engineering, M.A. Economics
- 20 years at Bromine Compounds (subsidiary of Israel Chemicals), responsible for managing specific and cross-company processes and developing new processes.
- 15 years at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries as Plant Manager for the production of Copaxone, Project and Plant Manager of Teva-Tech, and Chief Environmental Officer at the Advanced Products Division (API) of Teva.
- One of Tal Or’s first projects was: designing and building Forced Circulation Evaporators for the treatment of waste water, generated during the production of edible Olives, by separating the organic solid waste through evaporation. Such systems were installed in numerous plants in Murcia, Spain in 2005-2006.

- Founder and CEO for 30 years of Global Wire, a global supplier of non-ferrous wires & conductors for the Cable Industry, with several manufacturing sites in Israel, India, Germany and the USA.
- Former Vice President of the Manufacturers Association of Israel, responsible for representing the private sector vis-à-vis the Labor Unions in Israel, and extensive experience as Director on Boards of publicly traded companies, and a bank.
- Former Director General of the Standard Institute of Israel (public sector)
- Investor in Tal Or Ecology and Chairman since January 2015.
